Born in Vratza, Bulgaria. Also there, start of pianistic education at the age of five at the Municipal School by P. Karagenov. Since then interested in jazz, improvisation and composition.
At the age 14 to 19 had composed for various chamber ensembles, solo instruments and orchestra. Many of these works are awarded at competitions in Bulgaria and still performed. These are also part of the Teaching Program at Music High School in Pleven and Music Academy in Sofia. It is a very wilingly chosen music material, students, not rarely students win prizes with these works.
From 1998 till 2001 study at State Music Academy by Prof. Tsenova in Sofia. Graduation with honors. After completing education at home, he began studying jazz piano at the Richard Strauss Conservatory in Munich under Prof. Leonid Chizhik. In 2007 Masters degree with honors. Since August 2008 lecturer for jazz piano at the University of Music and Theater in Munich.

2003 Grand Prix by Musikförderpreis Gasteig in Munich
2010 second prize and audience prize at the first international music competition TEREM CROSS OVER in St. Petersburg.
Numerous appearances on various stages and festivals throughout Europe, Russia and Japan; Several appearances and solo concerts in Kyoto, Tokyo and Blue Note Nagoya. Performances at: Takatsuki Jazz Festival, Tokushima Jazz Festival; in Poland: Babskie Granite Gdansk, Bydgoszcz Jazz Festival, Gdanskie Noce Jazzowe, Gorzow Jazz Celebrations, Szczecin Music Festival; in Russia Irkuck Jazz Festival; Apolonia Art Festival in Sozopol and Varna Summer Festival in Bulgaria; Pescara Jazz Festival in Italy.
Since 2001 performances with Konstantin Kostov Trio with own compositions in large halls like the Munich Philharmonic and the Carl-Orff-Saal in Munich, the Shostakovitch Philharmonic in St. Petersburg and the House of the Composers in Moscow. Many of the performances were broadcasted on radio and television. Since 2010 close cooperation with the international musicians Leszek Zadlo, the Grammy winners - Cezary Konrad and Pawel Panta; Robert Kubiszyn, Agnieszka Hekiet, Roby Ameen, Maurizio Rolli and others. Several times director of the Jazz Piano Workshops in Nowy Sacz in Poland and in St. Petersburg.
